Founded: June 2015

We are Scotland’s LGBT Inclusive Education charity. We take an educational approach to tackling homophobic, biphobic, and transphobic bullying and prejudice in schools.

We believe that LGBT history, role models & equalities education should be taught within all schools in order to tackle the prejudice which often leads to the bullying and social exclusion of LGBT young people. To achieve this, we work with decision makers, produce curriculum resources, and deliver services for teachers and pupils to raise awareness, heighten knowledge, and foster good relations.

In 2017, the Scottish Parliament mandated our aims after a majority of MSPs supported our proposals by signing a five-point pledge.

In 2018, our national campaign succeeded as the Scottish Government announced that LGBT-inclusive education would be implemented across all state schools, after fully accepting 33 recommendations from a groundbreaking report which we worked on.
